Laura Olivas is a bilingual elementary educator, children's author, and lifelong advocate for literacy. After more than 37 years in education, she continues inspiring children beyond the classroom through stories that encourage kindness, imagination, and a love of reading.

Her debut book, Wizard the Magical Dog, celebrates friendship, courage, and the wonderful adventures that begin when children open a book.
